(First message) I got another message from someone in the US who wanted "to build a parallel life". He was married and had kids in CA. Wanted to have a sweetie in Europe, and something about me says "she's perfect!" to those guys.

Plenty of Fish, in the US at least, is a good middle ground. People there are more relationship-minded than OkC, but don't want to pay for match, etc, for whatever reason. Elsewhere in the world, it's a site for one night stands.
