I ordered a Joie cashmere dress on sale because my similar Eileen Fisher dress feels scratchy compared to all my softer items. Well, it arrived and I love it! Here is a bad photo as I can't find my camera. And as I was packing the EF dress for consignment, I found a hole in the neckline! One better one in, one well-worn item out. Yay!

Bonus photo of the gingerbread house DS and I made today - this is the first year it doesn't look like it needs to be condemned!

THe gingerbread house is a kit from Michael's! Could not be easier. And not really edible - too brick and mortar-like.

Wearing the dress today. Cashmere is amazingly warm for the weight! Will try to post a picture when I'm back home!

Love the dress, Una! And that house is darling.

On the Joie site it says it could be worn as either a "mini dress" or a tunic -- would you consider it a "mini" length on you? I would love a sweater-y dress that wasn't too form fitting, but I know I wouldn't wear it in winter if it was really short. The fact that you're wearing it in Alaska is encouraging me...

April, so good to see you back here! This is just above the knee on me (so mini on someone taller, maybe). It could be worn over skinnies too but on me it's definitely more dress than tunic. I will get a picture today!
