OUTFIT #1
Tunic dress with cotton tights.

Pics 1-2: with my Ashanti wig. Shoulder lob, heavy bangs with a 1970's feel.

Pic 3: Same outfit with my Gabriela wig. This romantic look makes the dress look longer in my eye. What do you think?

Pic 4: With a 1960's blond pixie and suddenly the dress looks shorter.

Pic 5: The dress seems different, no?

OUTFIT #2
Cropped jeans with inverted cardi and clonky footwear.

Pics 6-7: I think this outfit screams for either a pixie or a short bob.

Pics 8-9: Don't you think this outfit looks completely different?

I like the gamine vibe of #4 with that dress.

I like 8-9 better with that outfit, but it's a slight preference. Looking good!

I agree with texstyle. Some of these seem a little overwhelming — I see *hair* rather than *you*. I think it’s the combination of a lot of volume and the darker hair/more contrast with your coloring. Just my personal taste, perhaps, but I prefer the lighter hair colors on you since they are closer to your beautiful natural coloring.

My preference is for 6-7. I see more you and less hair, although you wear all the wigs well. Cute top in 6-9.

These are great photographs and you have real stylist insight and talent.

But I feel like I would find these looks a little intimidating in regular life? You have so much obvious natural physical beauty and I feel like it's a little obscured by the amount of dramatic layering.

I'm sorry, I know this is a little invasive as a comment, but I haven't been able to comment on your posts recently because all I can think is that you're so beautiful but I'm having trouble seeing you.

The dress is a fun boho kind of pattern and a 60s style -- I like it with the shorter pixie. It's cute on you with the tights.

It's amazing what a different hair makes. For me, it really determines the necklines that will work. I am sure I wear more turtlenecks and scarves because I have short hair! You can change the whole vibe of the outfit with your many wigs. Fascinating.

Agreeing with Janet. I prefer to see less hair and more you, and find those looks more flattering and real. I am truthfully not noticing how different the dress looks because I'm focused more on your hair . The blonde pixie is my favourite, followed by the auburn bob.

It must be hard to choose what hair to wear for the day! So many options. Yes, the hairdo definitely changed the whole vibe of the outfit. I think my favorite is pic one. The reddish colour goes well with the autumn colors in the dress, and the hair is voluminous and luxe but still small enough to let your natural features shine through.

Yes the hair makes a huge difference! I like the auburn bob and long wavy the most, could be due to the color.

This is really an interesting study! I feel like the hair in pic 3 really goes well with the boho style of the dress. That combination is my favorite. I think that the dress looks shorter with the pixie because the hair is no longer as much of a focal point, so the eye focuses on the dress instead and its short hemline.

For the blue top and jeans, I like both wigs equally well. As you say, the vibe of the outfit is very different depending on the wig.

This is all excellent food for thought, and I've really enjoyed these pics. I recently got my hair cut shorter than I've had it for a couple of years, and part of the reason I did it is because I really enjoy turtlenecks in the colder weather, and I feel like turtlenecks look better with shorter hair (I got mine cut to chin length). I also feel like I look better in scarves with the shorter cut. It appears that Suz has noticed this in her own experience.

I think forum member Aida once said that when she gets ready for the day, the first thing she thinks about is what she wants to do for a hairdo. That will affect the type of outfit she chooses to wear.

Very interesting. In the second series I agree the shorter hair makes the outfit look more intentional. With the long waves (which I am totally partial to, and am in fact wearing my hair long and naturally wavy these days!), it looks like old clothes thrown on to paint!

I like 4 best followed by 6/7 as the most natural. The long red wigs, especially #3, looks like you should take up Irish step dancing
