Anyone remember that Sesame Street game?

Are there foot shape guidelines?

I feel like one of these sandals is glaringly wrong for my foot, but maybe I'm just overthinking it. Anyway, I was curious if something just stood out right away to you. Maybe you see a particular style in these examples (thin/wide ankle straps, etc.) that I should avoid in the future?

ETA: Just to clarify...I don't mean which sandal looks different from the others (even though that's how you play the game); I meant which sandal flatters my foot less than the others.

Well, the different one to me is obviously lower left corner, with the thin straps. I don't love it but that's my own bias against delicate straps - you look great in all your WIWs, and it's the whole outfit that matters.

Funny, I do see the one Una saw as different but I think that one felt feminine and delicate and I recommend to keep them for those dressier occasions.

Thanks AK and Jayne. I added an ETA above. I'm curious to see if there is a certain style that you notice is less flattering to my long, slender feet.

I like all the sandles, but if you are trying to avoid length, the gladiator style I think maybe makes the foot look longer, but not in a bad way! I like them. The red sandles, however, don't do much for me and give your feet a rather duckfoot look and is probably in my eye the less becoming of all of them.

You have gorgeous legs and feet, they all look attractive to me!

Subjectively though, my least favorite are the middle row with the chunky straps. But maybe it's just because those have more of a kick-back slide shoe kind of vibe. The top and bottom rows with thinner straps feel more refined and therefore in keeping with your delicate build.

Having said that, I think you can pull all shapes of sandals, they just need different styling. I actually really like the bottom left corner sandals which Una dislikes, I think they look so pretty on your legs.

I much prefer the sandal on the bottom left. or the two on the top row centre and right. I think the thicker straps near to your ankle cut off your leg and make it look shorter...and you have great legs.

I vote the middle one. That's a bit too wide strapped, too flat... and too wide cut (on front) and the dark colour is only puting more on...
All others are more dainty, and more flattering, too!

I think the middle row ones are not as flattering as the others, in particular the middle middle and right middle.

Most of these look good on you. The red ones are my least favorite though because I think they make your foot look very long.

I think the ones in the center widen your feet but I still think your feet look tiny and slender.

I'm least fond of the one in the middle. The red one to the left of that one looks better to me, but mainly because of the color. I think the rest of the bunch are more flattering to your feet.

The ones on the middle right look a smidge too long. If they were a tiny bit shorter, they would be flattering, I think. So...I amend my previous comment. I'm still least fond of the middle, then the middle left. The middle right is almost there. The rest, I like.

Your schematic reminds me of the Brady Bunch...with that said, the one equivalent to Alice, looks a bit off with that skirt. : )

BTW, Alice doesn't really "belong" either because she is not legally family to the Bradies.

Bottom center is my least favorite. The center and far right on the top are my favs --- partly because I like the skin tone sandals on you.

I want to say the middle middle, but it could be the angle. The gladiators I find most flattering.

I have the biggest tolerance for any shoe or sandal as long as its comfortable, these all look great to me!

Hm, the one in the very center stands out to me. With the very thick, black strap cutting across the ankle. I see there are a range of answers... I think we all may be projecting our own foot shape insecurities onto you, AJ.

AJ, you have long toes - as do I - and to my eye sandals that shorten the toe always look better. For that reason sandals #1 and #2 are the least flattering. I do like toe coverage all round unless it's a thong sandal that exposes the entire foot, in which case proportions even out all over again.

I liked #2 actually. It's #1 I loathe. Ohmigosh! I'm so rude! But it's the sandal, not your foot. Grungy people around my town like to wear sandals with side straps like that. I don't mean people into grunge, I mean people who aren't into bathing. They seem to think wading through streams is bath enough...

I had to look hard to find something, but I think the center square is the least flattering on your ankle. I love the lower left, actually. Anyway, you can carry off tons of sandals styles. That much is clear.

I'm not a huge fan of the wide ankle straps, so I'd opt for thinner ones. That might just be personal preference though!

The one that stands out most is the middle one, well, because it's in the middle! I like the bottom left one on you, and the top left. the one I dis like the most is the top middle one.
