This purchase is being shipped because I knew it wouldn't fit in my carry-on bag, but I am quite excited about it. I spied this beautiful turquoise pea coat in J Crew and, nudged on by the lure of a sale price and some friendly encouragement, I sprung.
I will change out the buttons (not crazy about the gold), but otherwise I cannot wait to wear this. I had a coat this color years ago, and I loved the coat, but it was too big on me so I ultimately gave it away. I always swore that if I found another coat in this color, I'd get one. If I'd known what a HEWI was many years ago, this would have been on my list.
