A scarf hanger.
I purchased it at The Container Store and it quickly became a special addition to my closet. It had the capacity for 28 scarves, which I was quickly nearing with my collection of 25. I guess it was all just too much for the hanger. It just... snapped.
As you can see in the first photo, it was probably a little overloaded. I just put too much stress on that poor hanger. You can see in the second photo what it looked like "undressed"

So... Does anyone have any good scarf storage recommendations? I used to keep them folded in a box, but it was too much work to get them out and put them away. So they never got worn. This hanger was a great solution because it kept everything right at my fingertips. Right now everything is just on a bunch of different regular clothes hangers, but it doesn't quite work for me. I haven't been able to find another, more durable version of this hanger, so I'm one sad girl right now.
What are your storage solutions for scarves?
