One more find!!

I went toTarget to get a few household items and then walked by the bag department when lo and behold I saw a beautiful white bag sitting pretty by itself. I looked at the tag and guess what? It was a Jason Wu.

The bag is sturdy and made well with a black patent base. The only negative: white canvas. Anyone know how to keep white canvas clean?

I bought it anyway just to see how I would feel about it tomorrow.

Thoughts??? Keep or not,

Great find! I say KEEP, use and enjoy, and not stress too much over the canvas. Is it affordable? I had an inexpensive white canvas bag that I used all summer long for about 2 seasons. I then retired it when it started to show its wear and rationalized that I got my money's worth out of it.

this bag looks very stylish. I would keep it since its sold at Target I wouldn't think its THAT expensive. I'm surprised its Jason Wu-I didn't think any of his Target line was anything to write home about

Looks gorgeous (and likely less pricey than the ones we saw in NYC Bloomies). I'd agree with Claire to Scotchguard and then just enjoy until you can't keep it clean anymore. Maybe Shout wipes for the odd spill?

ClearlyClaire and JSloane - the bag was $50. Is that too expensive for a Jason Wu for Target? I think I may have to get some of that Scotchgard.

Victoria - I never saw Jason Wu's clothing line and heard bad things about sizing and quality, etc. I didn't even know he a handbag line until tonight.

White canvas does frighten me, but it's really pretty. I say keep it and just be a bit careful. I have a red canvas bag that I've used on and off for years. Obviously red hides dirt easier than white, but I've run it through the washing machine gentle cycle which doesn't hurt it and cleans it up pretty well. It also has patent leather.

Smart kitty!

Short of Scotchguard and because it's too inexpensive to possibly bother with dry-cleaning, you could actually try rubbing chalk on any dirt that gets on and brushing it off. It often takes the grime with it.

I do not particularly like white, and yet I am drooling over this bag. The structured shape is marvelous. I say keepity keep keep!

Gorgeous bag! With Manidipa and Jenny Anne`s experience perhaps the white canvas is not deadly after all.

I guess would ask if you did not know the brand or where it came from if you would still be happy with your purchase.

It is pretty but Target bags are bags of regret for me. I always find something I fall in love with because their styles are very up to the mInute. But they don't last. Three $50 Target bags later and I could have bought a quality leather bag that I would be carrying for years. Keep only if you are ok with carrying this bag for a season then looking for a replacement.
