Hello all, I am trying to narrow down a color for a loafer or flat shoe for fall and winter in Florida. I own booties that I will wear when the temperature dips. Currently we are experiencing very warm weather and the booties feel out of place.

If you were to pick one color for a loafer, what would you choose for the following criteria:

1. I am letting my hair go it's natural color, so I am half blonde, half gray. With bookending, I would usually go for a taupe or beige color. Currently I am leaning toward silver or a metallic.

2. I will wear this loafer with jeans. I have thought about choosing navy since it might blend with the jeans. I don't think I want black. I wear mostly solid colors on top -- white, gray, green, blues, purples.

I have enclosed pics of the Naturalizer Emiline loafer and the Sarto Jolette loafer, and a couple pics of my hair.

Thanks for any advice, or shoe links, or a versatile color.

P.S. Thank you for answering my previous question about tops -- I bought several tops from Loft and two dresses from Boden. All fab -- the dresses especially. The Elisa Jersey dress is amazingly flattering, (true to size -- I used Boden suggested size). The fabric is swishy and flattering. I also bought the Kassidy Jersey Dress, which can be nearly worn year-round in Florida, except for the most sweltering months. Thanks again.
