Didn't buy any jeans this year, so at the last minute decided to add a pair. Joe's Jeans generally fit me the best, so I got a pair of the Charlie high rise. Advised they run large, so I got a 28, and they fit!
Then last week I was near a Nordstrom Rack and went in to look for some sale sunglasses. Found some, then wandered around the store, which has been changed around since I was last there. Finally found the designer jeans and there was another pair of Joe's, similar but not exactly the same, so got them for $56. Got 28 but didn't try them on until I got home. (Tired--I don't have the old stamina for shopping lately.)
While I really like Paige jeans, Joe's seem to fit me better. Between Nordy's and Last Call, I've never paid full price for a pair.
The second pair fits as well. After 2 years of gaining weight on the belly, this year I've managed to lose 1/2 to 3/4". Belly much more important than scale, but I'm determined not to gain it back. Last month DH found out he is pre-diabetic and he's scared and really keeping to a diet/exercise routine, which helps me.
