LJP put up a great post on handbags and scarves, and how many do we need? At the same time I was inspired to write an handbag post.

I watched one of my favorite author's/influencer's June video (Jennifer L. Scott) full of recipes, stationery, poems, etc. I noticed her handbag she featured, which was a pale, dusty blue Teddy Blake in crocodile, or crocodile print. It looked fitting for summer, then I suddenly remembered whites and brights have been approved for winter in clothing, so maybe she could also wear it in winter. She spends a lot of time in England, and the rest in Southern California, and it would look great in all weather, on all continents.

So I thought, now that we no longer need a black purse in winter, and a straw, white or light brown one in summer, what could we have if we had one purse, all year long? Can we get a little creative, think a little outside the box? Because pale blue is fun.

You can show something you already have, or something you want. Since I have a boring black purse, here are two that I would consider wearing all year long: a canvas tote with a graphic design, or a sharp floral print.

Here is the link to Jennifer's video--her purse is shown at about 2:00.
