When I was doing research for y'all (cough) at Nordstrom yesterday, I also looked at the Sarto by Franco Sarto booties that are part of the sale (not the Granite which was also available last year, but the new Garfield with the buckle detail). I'd dismissed them online as they looked like a light tan, but the mushroom color IRL is a darker taupe. I brought home the 10 but decided that it is a bit too snug, and since miracle of miracles they're actually offered in a 10.5, I'm ordering that so I can wear thicker socks if need be. From my quick try-ons I think the almost shootie style will work well with skirts and crops, as well as full-length pants. I'm returning the Borns since my budget doesn't stretch to two new boots and the taupe will fill more of a gap for me.

I also picked up a robe, and tracked down my size in the green colorway of the v-neck Halogen top. I absolutely love it and it fits well. I would say that it runs a bit big, and the neckline is pretty low, although it's stitched together above the bottom of the v - if you have a short torso it might be too low for you.

And now I am positively done with NAS, and probably with shopping until August or September. Which is fine, because we probably have at least two months of summer weather left anyway!
