ON utility jacket - fit question (with pictures)

Kellygirl's nice review of the ON jackets http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....m-shoulder got me interested in trying out the ulitlity jacket. Here it is - as Kellygirl mentioned, the drawstring waist is positioned quite high (for me it is above the natural waist). How does it look? I like it from the side and the back, even though the waist is high, but am not sure about the look from the front (maybe it is the pocket on my top that is throwing me off). I was planning to use it as a lightweight layer with dark jeans.

Also, after reading a couple of recent threads about corduroy blazers, I pulled out an old corduroy blazer from Old Navy. I haven't worn it in a while because for some reason it feels frumpy. Is it time to get rid of it?

I vote pass on the cord blazer.

I like the utility jacket! The drawstring is more empire in position, which looks good to me, but how does it feel?

Thanks, Angie! The drawstring feels fine, so as long as it does not look funny, I don't mind it being high.

I also need to thank you for recommending the Caslon cardigan (NAS), it is so cosy for the early fall! Here it is. The same olive-green color scheme continued.

You look lovely in olive green. I like the drawstring blazer, it has a nice waist definition from the drawstring. The corduroy blazer is too boxy on you, I vote pass.
