I've seen it suggested in tailoring posts/threads that moving buttons is an option and I'm wondering if that would work for a coat of mine. I bought a nice knee length black wool coat before I should have [sigh]. I lost enough weight that now it's too big for me. I know, I shouldn't complain about that LOL but it was $150! It would work if I moved the buttons over, but then the buttons wouldn't be centered anymore. What is the limit on moving buttons? Should I bother doing it at all? I don't know how to redeem this purchase other than continuing to wear it too big. :/
