Hi!

My name is Sunny and I'm new to the forum but have been reading Angie's blog for a couple years. I look tonit for inspiration and outfit ideas as well as helpful hints and thought provoking ideas. I really appreciate her work.

I'm basically now a stay at home mom but had previously been in a very business professional setting. I have been working to figure out who I am now - what I will do next- and really feel that clothes for me are an expression of my inner self. Since I worked in a professional setting my wardrobe was mainly suits and heels and I clumsily transitioned through two kids and 70 pounds of weight to where I am now.

I went through yoga pants to good skinny jeans and boots with sweaters and am now mainly shopping my closet to pull out the funky things I bought over the years but didn't wear because my professional life didn't allow for a funky, boho, western, rockish style with a touch of chic thrown in. I am figuring out how to integrate them with jeans, cool shoes and some classic pieces.

It is all such a journey inside and out

I love the look of cowboy boots with good boot cut jeans and a crisp oversized oxford shirt with a cute jacket- love looking at the sundance catalog- love j crew old navy and gap for tall cut basics, love looking at free people elements but haven't integrated any yet, love nordstroms - the rack is a haunt of mine when I get out alone-

I also adore baggy rolled jeans with a lovely soft blouse or plaid and crazy studded booties. I'm obsessed with sci-fi silver and I may try a dyi before I commit to a new purchase.

I also love a full midi skirt with lady pointed flats (for me because of chasing toddlers) and cute striped tops cardis and blouses.

I'm a lover of converse sneakers with everything.

Lastly I do hit up forever 21 and asos sometimes for a trend at a cheap price to test drive my use before committing to a large budget outlay.

I drool at Isabel marant, calypso st Barth. Intermix, golden goose shoes, and anine bing clothes.

I look forward to more inspiration and learning of all of your journeys through fashion.
