You just described what I bought in Switzerland from Montbell last month. I love it! Nice longer length, very lightweight, dries in a flash, packs up in a small sack but also miraculously unpacks without looking rumpled. Doesn’t look so much like gear. I wore it nearly every day in Paris because it rained intermittently, and it tucked away nicely in my bag when I wasn’t using it.
I don’t know how hard it is to source in Canada though, because it doesn’t even show up on the US Montbell website. I hadn’t even seen this brand before visiting Switzerland, so it may be hard to find. Pricey as well but very well made, and likely to be a workhorse for a long time to come, especially for travel. Runs slightly small, I bought a L.
Perhaps Helly Hansen has something? Don’t know how available they are for you.
