Hi all!
Last week I wrote you about how I rekindled with an old flame, asking you for sleepwear advice. Some of you suggested "His button down shirt" or "Nothing..." lol... well, all I can say is, Well foreseen! lol

Seriously, I had gone to La vie en rose and gotten this Crossheart Poly Nightie, which was noticed, but what worked the best was a sleeveless tunic I had originally gotten as a swimwear cover up - we had plans to visit spas in Banff, which had to be cancelled due to floods. This simple tunic with a back string was the sexiest, most comfortable and wearable sleepwear in the end. I also had gotten some cute, very lightweight and slightly platform flip flops which ended up doubling as house slippers. I recommend doing this for a trip.

The weekend was even more extraordinary than I expected. We are truly made for one another, it's crazy. I used to not believe in those things. But... not any more.

And... we got engaged! I came back with a beautiful diamond ring! He said, "I have been waiting for you for 28 years". He had actually asked me to marry him some 20 yrs ago but I had refused back then, frightened at the idea of being tied down.. and had fled to Japan.

Well I didn't make the mistake of saying no this time. Even ex-DH is happy for us.

I know, I know how it sounds, I would think the same if it weren't me, but I know it in my heart, trust me, I am walking straight into happiness.

ETA: Just wanted to let you know I had my fiancé read all your supportive and positive comments, and it made him very happy. He says he is touched that all these people he doesn't know are rejoicing along with us. I told him how much of a neat, warm community YLF is!
