Hmmm.......but isn't that through the .com page. We've always been able to order from all of the US Gap Inc. stores but delivery is through Borderfree. Whenever I've looked at what it would cost to buy from the US page the shipping and duty charges are outrageous. More so than other US stores using Borderfree. The .ca page doesn't have the tab for Athleta at the top of the page. Am I missing something or are you looking at .com? If so, be prepared to pay a lot extra for anything you order. And, you can't use any promo codes for shipping outside of the US.

Marilyn, it is though .com, and yes, it's borderfree. But I'm pretty sure this wasn't an option before (you could get the other Gap stores, but not athleta)... I remember once trying to duplicate a pair of pants (willing to pay) and am pretty sure it wasn't an option. Maybe I'm wrong? But either way, I'm glad to discover it's an option!

Yes, it's nice to have the option.

Just checked. Here's the CDN price for that dress. Every once in a while I pop to the US site when something isn't available here and end up disappointed. I don't know why they can't keep the shipping more reasonable like J Crew does.

Sheer availability was what I was glad to see.... as I mentioned, I'm pretty sure it was a closed door before. Whether or not one is willing to pay is another issue.

I noticed this the other day too. But $28 to ship is a bit ridiculous, considering a dress weighs nothing. And then 30% extra in taxes and duties - someone, somewhere is making a lot of money off of us.

To be clear, I wasn't thinking of buying the dress... I'd just clicked on it to see it closer and noticed "now shipping to Canada" or something that registered like that to me, in the header.

But I'm glad you noticed this too Lisa, I was pretty sure it was a new thing. It's another option, whether or not it appeals to one.

Elizabeth, size down in this dress. It should be snug around legs and drapey top as in picture. I am typically a small in Athleta now, but needed an XS for this dress. I think it would look great on you because of your strong shoulder line. I can try and get a WIW picture tonight if your interested.
