I got dressed in a huge thoughtless rush, in order to get my friend to the doctor and DS to school before getting to the office. And oh, am I sorry. I'm wearing slouchy black pants, the Equipment emerald snake shirt, and a black cashmere cardigan. (Forgot my shoes so DH is bringing them from home this afternoon as he had to stay home to meet the contractor. I'm in winter boots.)
Problem? I feel frumpy. Cardigans are no longer me. This is something I would have worn by default three years ago. Don't like a full tuck but can't make it work with the cardi otherwise. Too matchy and conservative. My favorite item, the shirt, is mostly hidden. Hate the feeling of lumpy long sleeves layered and scrunched.
Lesson learned - always rely on a FFBO when things get rushed!
