Hi Everybody! Still lurking. Still silly up to my eyeballs in paperwork and stuff. Did y’all know the Olympics had a red carpet? Did I know? It might be the most fun red carpet fashion I’ve seen in awhile.

I had no idea! Is this a unique Paris thing maybe? This is my kind of red carpet ... Replete with sneakers!

Personal standout is Naomi Osaka's glamourous take on a blue shirt over white cami. But so much fabness to enjoy!

Thanks Rachylou! I was looking at the different uniforms worn by the athletes, but didn’t catch this. Agree with you about Haiti’s uni. And, Mongolia’s! Wowsa!

Loved seeing all the uniforms in the opening ceremony!

I've been watching a lot of Olympics! It's absolutely MAGICAL. What the athletes have achieved - especially the equestrian riders who had to get to that level with a HORSE! - is mind blowing to me.

Wow. I like how Pharrell Williams dressed in straight-up normcore, as if he's hitting a tennis match after that. It is so bold compared to everyone else's formal wear. He is the head of Louis Vuitton, after all.

I'm just watching very short clips of things that go viral. Dad was crowing about the opening ceremony, but then he said it was 4 hours- nope. He didn't much like that I said my video tolerance is 4 minutes haha!

Rachy, Pharrell Williams is the new creative director of LV! Carol is dead right.

I've been GLUED to the Olympics in my down town! The Equestrian events are my favourites - I love the gymnastics, swimming, athletics, diving, and skateboarding too. Riding in the Olympics with your horses at that level is the hardest and most challenging sport of the them all. Hands down - no contest. If you google it - it will tell you the same thing

Suntiger, Angie - the streaming thing is kinda discombobulating me. I tried to click on dressage and I got jumping?! However, Michael Jung was mesmerizing. Completely in the flow.

Major Olympics fan here; I am really bummed not to be in Paris this year. I have been loving the gymnastics, diving, fencing and equestrian events. I think we need a thread about the women’s leotards; Brazil’s were amazing.

Rachy and Suntiger, Michael Jung is UNBELIEVABLE!!! His FOURTH Olympics - age 41 so one of the oldest Olympians - and he JUST BROKE ANOTHER RECORD! Three individual golds for Eventing. One the same horse. Chipmunk.

FYI: I'm watching the Olympics coverage on NBC and USA Today via Youtube.TV. That's a streaming service worth getting. Peacock too.
