Last Friday's Outfit Formula: Neutral Spring Utility really resonated with me because I have an orphan olive swing jacket that I've had for years and have not really spent much time trying to style. It's probably one of the oldest items in my closet and was a birthday gift from dh about 10 years ago. It's a very heavy linen fabric and has a nice drape. I tried it with the black and white columns of color that Angie suggested and with a few variations. #1 - all white (I do have white sneakers but tried the blue for interest), #2 - all black, #3 - with a black and pale gold striped t neck, #4 - with my black with white scattered dot tee, #5 - dh's favorite with Docs, #6 - with my plaid pants which look better in person, lack of sunlight has made them appear darker than they are. I do have an olive utility shirt jacket that I wear with tees in warm weather and I have plenty of options but this jacket hasn't been getting much wear so the same suggestions helped me figure what to wear with it. Thanks Angie and to the other fabbers who posted their solutions which is helping me rescue this little worn jacket.
