Older colored jeans

So I have two pairs of colored jeans one is cobalt/electric blue and the other is hot pink/fuschia skinny jeans. I haven't worn them in donkey's ages. I'm wondering if I should sell or consign them. They're both premium denim.

I would try to sell them - for spring /summer I think they would be relatively easy to sell and put a few dollars back in your shopping budget.

I'd wear them! Pair them with a brightly colored top (either a pattern, or maybe a complimentary bright). I have a pair of fuchsia skinny ankle jeans (NYDJ) that I've been wearing a lot. My favorite outfit with them includes a turquoise tee-shirt semi-tucked, with a leopard belt. (I love bright color!)

If that's too much color for you, how about a classic white shirt and white or nude shoes?

Definitely consign them and put the money towards one of the newer styles you've been stalking like the overalls or the harem shorts.

Yup. Sell. You were an early adopter, so you got to wear them while they were still cutting edge. Now they feel a little old, so sell. Although....I would consider keeping the hot pink ones to wear with your Anna Sui peasant top for a punk rock look. (Sorry, still got punk rock on the brain.)

BTW, just have to tell you how much I love visiting your website/blog so that I can see all of your amazing outfits together. So. much. fun.

I agree with Janet that now would be the best time to sell if you aren't wearing them. I guess that is one advantage to being fashion forward: By the time you're done with a trend, others are just starting to try it.

Sounds like there's money to be made!

If you're not wearing them, sell them. That said, I'll bet you could style the hot pink pair so many fun ways...Just sayin'.

I agree with the others. You haven't worn them forever, you probably won't now. Sell or consign and put the dollars into your current budget. You are an early adopter, so while you have moved on, these should sell well I would think.

If you don't love them anymore, sell while the look is still popular and you can get a higher amount for them. If you wait, the "colored jeans stock" is likely to go down.
