Ireland wardrobe is going great, I chose grey, black, burgundy, creme and navy for colors and all fits in my carry-on with one checked duffle bag for 18 days. Husband has the same with my hiking boots in his duffle, LOL... I I even fit tall riding boots in carry-on!
I have some options for going to pubs, church service to honor members who've passed -then family reunion dinner, and casual wear. With staying around the family for so many days hubby didn't want repeat outfits ,so will repeat during 2nd half of trip We will stay at a family home in Galway for the first part, then go off to 4 different castles booked through a Groupon for the second half.
My worries aren't about wardrobe so much as about the huge Irish Catholic extended family... It gets overwhelming with the lot in Boston, can't even picture what this will be like... I didn't have cousins growing up as my mother was an only and my father was the baby with 17 years between him and the one before him..DH will be in his element which is fun to watch since he gave it all up to come to VA with me!
