Old Navy Chambray Shirt-PSA - YouLookFab Forum

Today I purchased this shirt from Old Navy:

I had been thinking about trying a chambray shirt but wasn't convinced it was for me. But I received a $10 rewards from Gap the other day and decided to head over to Old Navy to check out this shirt in particular. I had low expectations since I have trouble with buttondowns but this shirt fit my IT shoulders and 32 DDD bust just fine. Even the chest pockets looked OK, and I usually avoid those.

For reference, I am a size 8 on top and the M was perfect. Of course, as is usual with Old Navy/Gap, there are wide variations amongst the same size in the same item. I tried on a couple to get one that I liked...the others had shorter sleeves and overall length (1-2 inches!). It's 100% cotton so I figure it may shrink a bit.

Anyway, for about $14 I can try out this trend without too many regrets. It's lightweight enough that I anticipate it will be worn with white jeans and white crops this Spring......

Apparently today is the day of chambray shirt purchasing. I too couldn't shed the image of a chambray shirt with white jeans... white clamdiggers... white denim jacket...

Meanwhile, back on planet earth, it's 15 degrees F and windy.

I think this is the shirt I'm wearing today. It's not a great outfit and I probably wouldn't have posted it, but here it is in case you want to see the shirt in action. I picked it up at a thrift store, but it's Old Navy and looks like the one you've linked to.

Hmmm...Sara, I looked at my shirt and it's actually this one, not the one you have NOR the one I linked to above:

AND it's not on sale in the store like it is online (but I had a $10 coupon so it's a wash). GRRRR...confusing. Looks like April and I had the same experience today.
