Okay, so I may have found my elbow-sleeve leather jacket: WITH PIC

Remember this conversation, after Project Runway's Christopher ignited my desire for an elbow-sleeved leather jacket?

Well, there was a promotion code, one thing led to another, and my jacket may have arrived from ASOS today (she said sheepishly). My photographer is not here tonight, but I should be able to get photos tomorrow.

In the meantime, may I say... I love it!

If it's the one you posted, I'm just going to admit that I ordered it last week since I was ordering the ankle boots to try out from there anyway! How funny! I can't wait to see pics on you - mine won't get here till next week.

Una -- too funny! I thought of you as soon as I put it on. A fair warning that this jacket is *very* tailored. in the waist, though the shoulders are more generous.

In other words, perfect for us.

Uh oh, small waist won't work for me unless it's really cropped. Are the shoulders padded? What size did you order?

Yes, it's quite cropped -- above the hip. I ordered the 2. No padded shoulders.

April, I think you should hold out and keep looking. This ASOS one is more structured and busy, too much detail compared to what I think drew you to Christopher's. This one is too much like a regular moto jacket in styling. I love the minimalism, simplicity and ease of Christopher's, which is what I think you loved too.

ETA: of course if you love it, then it's a keeper, it fits great: I just re-read your original post!

I'm not sure whether you're after a moto style or a less moto looking leather jacket April, (to Claudia's point), but this one is KILLER.

Claudia, you're right that this one is quite different from the one that was on PR, but that's okay with me. It was less that I wanted the exact jacket that Christopher made and more that I wanted one with shorter sleeves.

I've had such a hard time finding well-fitting leather that I will definitely keep this one.

Angie, thanks for talking me out of a few not-quite-right ones in the past. A KILLER rating -- yay.
