Ok- I went on one more hike and it was heaven on earth!!!

My my what a hike 8 hours of round trip. Trekking up and down 3 hills... With hike being marked as hard!!!

I just had to share these pics with my friends here

It was scary and it was tough... The end is marvellous as there is this boulder wedged between the fjords(granite mountains eroded by glaciers thousands of years ago)...

It was beautiful...

On a side note... Now I see that all these hiking has done it's job. Clothes fit differently on me and my figure looks different... I don't look as pear-ish as i used too...

Time to take more pics and ask help from you ladies as what I am now

Wow, what gorgeous scenery! And oh my that pic of you on that boulder is making my palms sweat! I'm very impressed with your hiking skills (that looks like a super difficult hike--ice and heights and everything)! I don't know what your figure is (not an expert on body shape) but you do look super gorgeous and super fit!

GP you are so sweet :)... I am not an experienced hiker at all.. Infact this is my 2nd serious hike but DH is superbly athletic.. He pushes me to do it :)...
It was very tough I am still nursing my sore toes :(...
I called up my dad and asked him for meds :$

WOW!! Gorgeous views. I am very impressed by your hiking skills ... 8 hrs and you're not experienced?!?! Wow. Where did you take these hikes? I love the picture on the boulder too, but would have probably passed out from my fear of heights!

Hey Jayne you could so do it..... It's not long ride... We took 2.5 hrs with lot of pit stops to take in the scenery.... With good fitness (not my forte) people do it in less than 6 hours around...
And nope didn't yet get a job... The search is on

What a beautiful hike! That picture with you on the wedged boulder is so cool! I agree that good hiking does wonders to one's body and you look great in these pictures.
On the side note it is so great that you and your BF like to hike together. This is one of the favorite types of vacation for my hubby and I. Actually we met during a winter ski hiking trip....

That is a breathtaking picture on the boulder with the fjord in the background.

My hiking has been mainly in the Rockies in Alberta, BC, the Yukon, and Montana, but you make me want to dig out my boots and haul this aging body to Norway.

Sveta, that is too funny that you also met your husband on a ski trip.

My future husband was the cool ski instructor, while I was a ski bunny on a trip with my friends. We are coming up to our 40th anniversary this year and, yes, I'm an expert skier after having a personal coach for all that time!

Breathtaking! Like Natalie, my palms are sweating, but I still want to go on a hike now. My husband and I usually do long "urban hikes" on our vacations, but you have made me crave nature.

Rae my palms were sweaty too but then I am not sure if I will ever get a chance to do this hike again... So I wanted the snap and ?I got on that boulder only after DH promised to hold me tight :).... See I am not all that brave... I too "was" an urban hiker but marriage changed me...

It's so cute that Sveta and Gaylene met their life partners met their spouses on hikes.. Awww... Feels like M&B....
Shannon marriage has made me a convert, I too hike a lot with my hubby now

On a side note.. Harmonica this hike isn't exactly kid friendly

not taking the kids to such a hike! my first association to Kjerag, though, was that this supposedly is the base jumpers forbidden paradise! dangerous as it is. not my cup of tea (base jumping)
