Oh no- my Fidji's :(

I wore my black Fidjis today and somehow managed to tear some of the leather (the top layer) off the pointy bit of the toe. I have NO idea how it happened, I didn't catch my foot on anything, just looked down and noticed it

They were the last pair in my size at Nordies too....Boo!!!!!

is the torn bit still attached? If so, pop into a shoe repair shop and they should be able to take care of that in 2 seconds (I did that once with my Smooches) If the torn bit isn't still attached, i'd still take them into a shoe repair shop and ask what they can do.

Oh, shoot. So sorry, Megan!

I echo what Kim said. If the torn part is still attached and you are feeling pretty confident, you could even take a *small* dot of superglue and glue the flap of leather back over the shoe yourself.

Megan, I share your aggravation. I did this just last week with my cognac Miz Mooz boots, but the finish completely scraped off and left a bright cream colored circle.

I'm planning on taking the boot to the shoe repair shop next week. I'll let you know how it goes.

Oh, no, Megan -- and after you waited forever for those to arrive!

Kim, I can't believe you said that about your Smooches -- my Smooches did the exact same thing! A little rip in the leather after I'd only worn them twice. I was so sad, especially since I got the Smooches because my Brulees had held up so well.

Oh, well, good to know it's easy to fix...
