So I called maybe seven Gap stores around town, asking if they had the legging jeans in faded black. I was willing to go one size up or down, if they didn't have size 2. The one thing I made clear was that I wanted the leggings and NOT the skinnies.

Two places said they had them within my size range.

Both places pulled Always Skinnies instead of the legging jeans.

And then...

McDonald's ran out of ice cream on my way home.
