I just saw the two Bernardo leather jackets you have placed in your store and that vivid green moto style one is staring right at me!

I keep picturing it with jeans, over my black sheath dress, with white bottoms....oh dear oh dear...is this the "flexible" part of my spring shopping list you were talking about? Maybe this would be much more flexible with my wardrobe than a white blazer?

BTW for the record, the scuba style one only comes in orange for the petite sizes.

Gotta go lay down now...

I don't want a white leather one. Coloured one? That's a whole other story - lol!

But I know I won't wear leather when our real hot months come - however, for us that's only June, July and August so a coloured jacket like this could be worn a good 8-9 months per year.

Oh who am I kidding? With the expensive return issues with Nordstrom, I'd have to be pretty darned sure on the fit of this one...

Heh, I just saw that, too! Tempting even for me, who doesn't want motos and feels a little too precious in leather jackets to warrant anything but a super distressed one. It's very cute!

I don't know if you can totally disregard June, july and August as non-leather months Shannon. Air conditioning can be pretty fierce, a girl may need an adorable leather jacket to keep her cosy.....

The items I've picked up after seeing Angie's recommendations for them always turn out to be favorites. Luckily we don't have the spring weather these would require, but I did bring home one of the lace bomber jackets yesterday....something I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't seen it here and on Debbie's WIW. Definitely a temptress.

Rae - fortunately (or unfortunately, depending how you look at it), I do not feel too precious in leather. In fact, I feel pretty darned good in leather!

Joy - I totally agree that every single item that I've ended up purchasing based on Angie's recommendations have been winners for me.

Living in Norway makes it very difficult to give in to Angie's recommendations for me due to taxes and returns. If not, I'd probably be ruined by now, or dead and buried in a wonderful wardrobe:) I have very little self control, you see.

Shannon and Merwomen, I can wear a leather jacket 10 months of the year - and my blush moto almost year round because it's lightweight. Hmmmm, Shannon, they are fab jackets but I worry about your shipping costs when you have Danier around the corner.

You are correct about Danier Angie & Suz - my only issue with Danier is they don't carry petite sizes and therefore, my choices are extremely limited.

But maybe I'll have to go try on a few of the new ones to see...

Inge - I think you, Suz and Sveta should get some sort of "group discount"!

I think I will pop into Danier and try on the green jacket for fit. I don't worry about the sleeves because Danier will shorten them. It's where the waist and hips hit that will be the deciding fit factor.

For anyone who is saying "ummmm...a green leather jacket isn't on her spring shopping list" - I consider this Angie's FLEXIBILITY rule at work. If the jacket were to fit in fact and I fell in love hard enough to buy it, I will remove a couple of items from my list to keep my budget balanced.

Oooh - Shannon, I am very hopeful about this one for you. Don't forget, I am only a few inches taller and it was working for me....it did not end where it ends on Sveta (right at top of high hip bone - looks like??) but a bit lower, but the waist placement still looked right (to me at least). You can check my thread again. Crossing fingers for you!!! But do wait for the sale. This is Pre-spring merchandise and they will put it on sale for sure.

Those coloured leather jackets are so pretty and I am sure all those fabulous colours will look great on you ladies

I really love the green colour, but not the best for me (and my budget!)

Thanks Suz - I do love the green - so vibrant. And if it fits, I will definitely wait for a sale.

Although our heights are similar, I believe I have a shorter torso, so that will be the kicker. But keep your fingers crossed!

While these jackets are awesome I am sticking with my dream white one and counting days until it goes on sale...
Shannon, even if Danier does not carry many Petite styles (nor Tall for that matter if it makes you feel better) some models are much shorter and may suit you well. They have so many colors now it is blinding!

I was in Nordstrom a few weeks ago with no intention of buying a green leather moto jacket but this one followed me home. I knew the moment I saw it on the rack that it was going to be mine. This is way out of my normal purchasing habits (green!) but it is so fab I could not resist.

For anyone on the fence (Shannon!) - go for it!

ABC - I'm wobbling on that fence now! May I ask how tall you are? I'm only 5'1" and my issue with jackets is always where the waist and hip hits.
