I mainly posted it because on Sat morning I was having that familiar thought process of "what am I going to wear to this wedding". I would have loved a dress like Stayfit wore below (Am thinking of looking out for one this summer) but this wasn't a wedding I was going to buy something new for, since we were just going to the ceremony and it wasn't that fancy (a second wedding for both bride and groom) And then I thought of the dress I did wear.
When I bought it 2 years ago I really loved it, and thought it quite flexible in terms of being able to be dress it down. I have also winterised it with boots (doing that today) and worn a suit jacket and a coat dress with it. But I have worn it so much I don't really love it the same way I did at first, and just pull it on without much thought most weeks. However someone at work was complimenting me on it (and asking if it was from the much more expensive shop Cue) and it made me realise that noone at the wedding saw me at work wearing all the time!!
I wore silver strappy sandals, BTW, that were cut off in the picture.
