Since I started my new job, I am having to figure out clothing and style that is appropriate for both the office environment and also driving around and calling on businesses. I feel like I am getting to a good place with this, and am adding a few ethically made from sustainable material pieces at a time.
Yesterday, I had a conference to attend in the morning so I wanted to look a little more "business" than usual, but still feel like myself. I decided on a suit my way and paired a black bamboo tube skirt with a black canvas moto jacket and a pecan colored gauze tee underneath with some nude sandal booties. I was very pleased with the result.
A co-worker from another department surprised me by commenting not just how much she liked that outfit, but my overall (unique) style. It was really nice to hear that someone else is enjoying my fashion as much as I am!
