Last week I spontaneously brought to work a bunch of necklaces I'd planned to consign. I put them in a spare room and sent an email, and by the end of the day they were all snatched up.
Everyone was so enthusiastic that I've instituted a "free-for-all Friday" for people to bring in their unused items for others to take. At the end of the day I'll haul everything off and donate to charity. This week the theme was "scarves" and it was a big success. People felt inspired to clean Kondo style and focusing on one area helps. Fun and thrifty and a good way to raise spirits during the holidays! I think purses will be next.
Has anyone else done something of this sort at work?
