Off the forum for a while

Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you know I will be off the forum for quite a while. The hard drive on my laptop has just died and needs replacing. I can not use my work computer so I will be using my smartphone to read a little, but regular posting from it is very difficult.
It seems that this is a weekend of incidents for me, first the ripped jeans, now this. Hope it ends here!

Yes, I need to replace the hard drive. I have an old laptop whose hard drive is still fine (though the graphic card is busted) but I do not know if the types match. So I will need to wait for Monday to be able to access online instructions from my work computer on opening both laptops and accessing the hard drives. If they match I may be able to switch them on the spot. Otherwise I will have to order a new hard drive and wait till it arrives. And I also need to recruit some help with this as I have never done it before.

Very annoying, all I can say.
