OBG with 3 shoe options - YouLookFab Forum

2017 thrifted long camo top for $8, so older than 2017. 33 wears.
2010 soft black pants, bought then as incredibly comfy. But not my most flattering so only reaching 27 wears today.
3 shoe options:
2011 laser cut white mules. Would wear these if working today but I am not. 26 wears before today.
2015 cheap white lacy sneakers. Need a wash. Bought to wear to a retro garden party to play croquet, back then! I wear without socks mostly. 33 wears before today.
2017 black walking sandals. A bit disappointing comfort-wise and just needed mending after 18 wears! I was annoyed by that as they are Arche (supposedly good French brand). Bought on sale for $100 in 2017.
Rather old cloisonné-style earrings at least 10 years and Revlon Kiss Me Coral lipstick.

Well, Jenni, I’m Arche fan, so these are my favorites. Shocked, that there are quality issues with this brand. How disappointing.
Love the colors of your blouse, works well with white footwear, too.

Jenni, you look so fresh in that camo blouse. It's so spring-like! Like the lippie, too.

I like all the footwear options but what a disappointment about the sandals. Still, $100 for Arche still sounds like a bargain -- they are SO expensive in Canada.

Well on looks alone, I’d wear the black sandals, but since you say they aren’t that comfy, I’d go for the mules

You look great! For looks, I’d say the black sandals. But since they’re not comfortable and need mending, I would donate them to the thrift store. Life is too short for uncomfortable shoes.

Fun! All 3 shoes have been chosen. Personally, I think I like the looks of the black sandals best, I've decided. My hubby mended them 2 nights ago and I wore them to work yesterday.
They were a bargain Suz , actually bought on holiday in Noosa, Queensland, Australia, so $100 Australian which is more than $100 NZ. But they don't seem such a bargain when they needed mending after only 18 wears! The sole came adrift at the toe end, hubby glued them and held them together with pliers until the glue set. There was a pliers mark at first but it has faded now. I bought them to replace some similar "walking sandals" which had become stained, but they are not quite as good as one big toenail gets rubbed. I will replace if I find something more comfy. I walk in sneakers more anyway.

A great outfit and that Revlon lipstick is gorgeous on you. I like #1 and #3 as shoe options. Arche shoes are so expensive (glad you only paid $100 for these) - so I am shocked they did not go the distance. I have had a few pairs of Arche shoes and found them to be very hard wearing, so you were unlucky. The reason I have bought Arche before is that they are good shoes for my orthotics - finding sandals that comfortably hold an orthotic is so difficult to find, probably why I wear boots even in summer.

#1! I could see #3 too.
One of my first luxury shoe buys were Arche sandals. They lasted over 10 years of constant wear. But I bought them over 20 years ago, sorry to hear the quality wasn't there for your pair.
