I'm starting to think about what to pack. Is it going to be horribly humid or perfectly pleasant?

biscuitsmom - did you ever that Friend's episode where Monica goes to Hawaii and by the end, her hair looks like Diana Ross? That's me in NY when it's humid!

I think it's too early to say. Last week it was quite mild. 70's-80's. This week it's in the 90's. By the weekend we'll be in the midst of a tropical storm and it will be back in the 70's. It's really not predictable.

The humidity isn't as bad as it was earlier in the season, but it's still unpleasant.

I recommend layers, with NYC and our weather lately, you never know.

Tara, check accuweather.com the day before your trip and pack then. This stratetgy works well for me.

I had a squizz and it looks like we will have very varied weather. Nights are cool, but daytime temps are all over the place - 68 to 85.
