Numbering issue

Greg, I tried using the numbers but when I clicked them off to start a new sentence they all disappear.

number 1 on
number 2 on
number 3 on

clicked off to start this sentence and they disappear.

I can't seem to reproduce the same thing...

Number 1
Number 2
Number 3

To do this list I first clicked the numbered list icon, then I typed

Number 1 Number 2 Number 3

After that (on number 4) I just hit enter. Then I clicked below the list and continued typing. Is that what you did too?

ETA: Ah! It just occurred to me that by "clicked off" you might mean that you clicked the numbered list icon a second time. If so, I would expect it to remove the numbers. To exit the list you just hit enter on an empty line.

When I hit enter on an empty line I get another number. The only way I can stop getting numbers is by clicking off the number button. It has always worked that way for me on the old format.
