Thanks, everyone! This sounds very promising. I've had a chance to try the Clarks oxfords, too, that I asked about in another post. My gut feeling tells me that white brogues is a lot of white patent, while these loafers are more within my current style and comfort zone. But I adore the mushroom colored oxfords which look much more RATE on the web pictures than IRL (the distressing is not prominent at all). They are fab, in my opinion:

I'm thinking that if I buy one pair of loafers and one pair of brogues, I'll have all the variety I need in spring/summer light shoes. My current shoe collection already includes heels and ballet flats in a light color, and I'm not very keen on nude patent heels at the moment - don't know why, really, but I don't like them on me! If I order these two pairs together, I'll save on postage and import fee, so that will make the purchase a very good deal compared to retail prices locally.
