Nude fishnet pantyhose ok?

I have some occasions coming up that I will probably want to wear with pantyhose, and since it should be warm, I don't want a dark color.

A few years ago when nude or light colored pantyhose were a definite "out," fashion advisers such as Stacy London said to get nude fishnets. Now that nude hose seem to be acceptable to a degree, are fishnets not so desirable?

(I hate all kinds of these "inventions of the devil," but I really do need a bit of help in certain skirts.)

I still like my nude fishnets for adding some textural interest (and I also wear other types of textured nudes when I can get my hands on them). If the outfit looks best "clean" then normal sheer nude hose could be better.

I'm with Aida I wear sheer hose if the outfit already has a lot going on, but I still like my nude fishnets to add some texture.

my legs require no added texture........ LOL.. I always go for the sheerest hose possible when they are required

I hope they are because it is the only kind that I wear anymore. I just bought a pair a couple of days ago.

I've got a few pairs and like them better than regular nude hose because they're less likely to run the second I look at them. I do sometimes wonder if they look a little busy or conspicuous from close up though, but I think that might just be me.

"Inventions of the devil" - BEST. LINE. EVER. And I think that if you must subject yourself to such torture, nude fishnets are gorgeous!

Thanks, Sarah, but I can't take credit for the line. It's been attributed to Kathryn Hepburn, although she may have just said that of high heels.

I hadn't thought about fishnets and texture. Alas, my legs already have a bit of texture, which is part of the reason I need to cover them.

I like the textured look of the nude fish nets. It is camouflage for the texture going on underneath.

Nude fishnets are fine, as are nude-for-you sheer hose. I generally prefer the latter, as it gives the illusion that I have nicer legs than what I actually do!
