Me too Rae! I was looking for nude boots though (*she says justifying it ten ways to Sunday*) but that's it now. My shoe and boot wardrobe is complete.

What kind of dresses are you looking for? Work, casual or both?

I think you made the right choice, the first pair looks decidedly casual to me. I think you'll get more mileage out of the second.

(Don't get me started on boots! I have umm... a lot.)

Oh my goodness. These are BOTH wonderful! I'm glad you went for the Clarks. I would love a pair of those, too!

I adore my Reports. They are SOOOOOOO comfortable. And I am not a girl who wears heels. I can wear them for 10 hours straight!! And I don't think weather's an issue, because I weatherproofed them. I wouldn't wear them in dirty slush, but I DO wear them on sunny days and slightly damp days, without question. With socks, tights, micro fishnets and bare-footed.

However, as others have said, the wide ankle opening is a bit of an acquired taste. On the positive side, it makes them more wearable in somewhat warmer weather. That is to say, I wear them with bare feet and they feel as cool as most shoes. I wouldn't do that/couldn't do that with most boots and booties.

On the negative side, some skinnies do not work well with this boot (although straight legs, boot cuts, and wider skinnies work perfectly) and if you have a slim ankle, they stand out from the ankle. They do on me, but for whatever reason I think it looks okay.

Having said that, I'd adore the lace-up. And I can't wait to see you wearing those Clarks!!!!.

Where did you order from?

Aida - more than 10?

Suz - I really wrestled with this choice because I know how comfortable you found the Reports right out of the box. And I still think they would work with my style and wardrobe. But in the end, those Clarks just kept whispering my name...what's a girl to do? I ordered them from Amazon as they were cheaper there than anywhere. I've got a couple of pairs of Clarks so I'm pretty confident in sizing and comfort level.

Let's not talk number of boots *ahem*.... Let's talk about you, Shannon, and the second pair which I think was definitely the right choice. Funky and retro-cool awesomeness - can't wait to see them added to your shoe harem.

(I'm mentally counting right now!). Shannon, I noticed an "Endless" link posted on this thread; how do they compare to Zappos and Amazon in service? I ask, because I noticed the teal boots I liked, on the site, but I already have the "same boot" in two different colors and don't want to three-peat. Would that be dumb to do?

Hi Vicki - sorry I'm so late in responding to your question. I haven't ordered from Endless or Zappos (I know Zappos doesn't deliver to Canada and I'm not sure about Endless). I've ordered shoes from both Amazon (several times now), ShoeBuy, Aerosoles and Doc Martens webstore. Amazon for me has had the best service - quick delivery, no issues with what I've received. I've never had to return anything through them though so can't speak to that. ShoeBuy was ridiculously slow and charged a small fortune for shipping & duties - won't order through them again. Aerosoles and Doc Martens were both in the 1-2 week delivery range.

I don't think three-peating a boot order is dumb. If it's a style that works well with your wardrobe, the quality is good and you find them comfortable, then I say go for it!
