Yes I think they would work. You would be moving from a heeled nude boot to an almost flat heeled boot, will work for you? Remember this question is coming from your sister shorty:)
I use dove gray as a nude for shoes and I'm pretty light skinned (the Miz Mooz are too dark to be true nude on me, but do function as an almost-nude). The photo of pair you linked looks more taupe (seems to have some brown, could just be the photo though) so I would guess it'd work as a nude. Is that little wedge enough of a heel for you?
I think light gray could work as a nude, depending on the gray, but I think grays are kind of tricky (some are more taupe, some more blue, etc.). Are you just showing these boots for the color, or are you considering this particular pair as a replacement?
