...I was browsing the website on my lunch break and found this dress. I LOVE IT! And it comes in petite sizing. This could be my replacement for my winter black ponte knit dress that I wore into the ground. I love a simple knit dress to wear under my various blazers and with boots.

I love it! I think it is a great dress with loads of possibilities. Wonderful that Wpg has a BR now. You can order it and return if you need to. We have one here in Ottawa but like The Gap and Old Navy I find sizes are often not stocked so often doesn't help to go to the store.

Glory - exactly! I love being able to order online, where there are often more size possibilities, but being able to return to the brick and mortar store.

Suz - glad you like it! I think it has lots of possibilities - different tights, with boots, booties or shoes, with different blazers over top, maybe layering Rocky underneath...

Textstyle - I'm thinking of the grey this time.

Yes, that's very classy. I like it in both colours. The elbow sleeves are flattering on petite gals like you (and me).

The "black" looks like it might be charcoal/heathered to me. Are you okay with that?

Thanks for mentioning this. The BR close to my house has a petites section so I'm making a note to check it out before the week is out. I am looking for a new black dress for winter.

Glory - we have two BR's in Ottawa - Rideau Centre and Bayshore, but there's more variety in the Rideau Centre location...

I don't do "dry clean only" so I would hesitate, but I love the look of the dress and I LOVE gray. I also LOVE Banana Republic and have been buying a few things from there lately. I've been impressed with everything from them so far.
