Now my turn for the Gap mesh sweater

I went for... yellow!

Maybe. I also got the navy one, but this is the one I have more questions around keeping, which is really just a confidence issue (yellow!) so thought I'd have some fun with it and get your thoughts.

Sorry for the head chop in the last one, zoomed too far, and didn't notice! Necklaces didn't work with it because of the sleeve detail... too much going on. And I do have other shoe options, just didn't want to haul out too many summer things, given we still have snow.

Oh... the white jeans (Gap L&L) and Gap boyfriends are also new, so let me know what you think of them too!

I've been on a yellow kick lately, so I love this. I think the color works for you. My favorite is untucked with the white jeans.

The jeans look like the fit well too, but I'm wondering about the length of the white ones with the sandals. Can't tell if they are too short or not...

I think you have nothing to worry about with the yellow, it looks great on your complexion. However, the drape of the sweater is a little weird; do you have easy access to the next size up, to compare how it would drape?

I think all three items look great on you! I love you in yellow. And with the white jeans it's so crisp and summery. I didn't notice a length issue on the white jeans, but upon closer inspection, I could see how a heel that's maybe 1/2"-1" lower might be worth an experiment.

Charmain, I do! I ordered both the M and the L, but the L felt sloppy. But I will go and take a pic and post it, to get feedback. Tks! And my legs are NOT a mile long, trust me. Those sandals are platforms, with heels :). Never been so tall in my life.

Cciele... I think the length is okay, these are the only pair of shoes I can wear with the pants so they don't drag! If they do seem short, esp after a washing, I'll adjst my footware.

Are the white jeans long enough? To my eye, they look short with that heel height.

And also a side shot of the length of the pants. They are about 1" off the ground. I can definitely make the pants work with other shoes, but have to admit, I was hoping to wear this combo, because I have NO other pants remotely long enough for these sandals. But if they have to be kept for dresses and skirts, that's ok! Just tell me!!

Love the yellow on you. I prefer the larger size on you for a bit of slouch. Also, the sleeve length seems to hit better. I think the jeans would look better with a lower heel.

Such a nice, spring-like color! I like the larger size. To my eye, the white jeans look great and I would not be overly worried about the length with these sandals (to me, the length is acceptable). Plus, the jeans might stretch, which will make them sit lower.

You look fantastic in yellow! It's difficult to tell size wise - I like the first size as a semi-tuck, or straight. I don't like the larger size left on it's own - I think it needs a semi tuck to give it some kind of drape possibility. Are you up to taking another photo and posting?

I am a PPL abomination. I personally would not worry too much about the length with the shoes. I think you just look a little more conservative.

Thanks so much everyone. Any hesitation about keeping this has gone out the window... a friend came over yesterday when I was playing with it, and she LOVED the colour on me too. Who knew?

Merwoman, I'm happy to do another pic... will try to tonight. Esp after seeing Shannon in hers this morning... I suspect hers fits more like the larger one did on me, and really liked the way it looked on her. But I don't want to HAVE to tuck. Hmm, keep both! ?

Rae... Honestly, the bigger size feels a bit sloppy, although there isn't much in it. But I'm not really used to the "slouched" look, and I do like the slightly longer sleeves. I know when I put on the larger one in navy, I pulled it off immediately as feeling too big. I'm going to give them another good go-round before taking off tags.
