My style is moving forward. Accepting my new 'middle age' state, whatever that means. And trying on outfits this weekend, I realize I am craving for simplicity and warmth.
I found this Lungo L'arno black wool long jacket-cardigan at Marshall's and actually, I think it was a good purchase. It has pockets and It's warm. It doesn't have any buttons (a minus) but the style allows for wraping and pinning with brooch, as I did in the first pic.
The wig in these pics is Ellen Wille's Talent Mono in Safran.
Notes:
1: A trial in layering. I don't know why I want to layer a dress over cigarette pants leggings and then a long cardigan AND finish the whole thing off with enormous Fluevogs, but somehow, it works for me!
3: What do you think of mustard and black? Does it go together or remind you too much of a bee or wasp?
8: Also, I don't know why this layering of items I NEVER wear, suddenly brought together, make me smile so much.
