Thanks Synne - my hair is a bit longer at the moment but I want it shorter again.....
Thank you Sterling - I have upped my bags game this year. Finally!!
Slimcat - thank you. I love this two piece dress and it was well worn last season. It screams summer to me. Incidentally when I went to the housewarming with in general a slightly younger hipper set of people midi dresses, pleated skirts and camis and jumpsuits were the most popular things worn. Very few shorter dresses, no maxis, and no skinny pants either (it was stinking hot though).
Lisa - I think it does make it easier to be away from the forum temptation. Importing to NZ is expensive and risky (I do occasionally do it and I think Bijou and Brooklyn are both excellent at it). I am really happy with my spring summer closet at the moment - I do have some work to do on cooler weather though. I could improve my styling of my hair though....
Thanks Cardiff Girl - I love my wall paper too...
Bonnie - the white pants have been worn a couple of times. They are a good work piece for me for October-April (I won't wear them in the cool weather). The blazer will be almost opposite. I plan to wear it with jeans and boots or pants and boots.
Haha Helena - I added the pic now. And I enjoy the jumpsuit a lot and should have jumped on the trend a couple of years back.
Thanks NemosMum - my finds are not as sorted as yours but I do find it helpful to get an overview. I look at my 2019 purchases and see no denim (which is fine) but I know next year I will be wanting a refresh.
Stylefan - like you I think I now know those star pieces when I see them. I need to capture that feeling and know when something is not a star...
Notsaf - I agree, the duds are frustrating.... but it is hard to predict. The dress was a real wildcard but the other two I thought would be good buys. Chunky knits and hourglass figures with short waists are not a flattering combination though...
Rachy - thank you!
