slim cat and torontogirl, thank you for the lovely compliment, but I don't think I'd call it discipline so much as...mindfulness, maybe? I've had a real shift in my thinking this year (I blame moving) about my relationship with "stuff" and I've decided, while I love new clothes, I want to feel fantastic about the things I buy, so that's entailed slowing down, doing research, and adjusting my decision-making process. It doesn't feel like deprivation, though! It feels good!
Sal, I just hate having beloved pieces wear out, but I guess it's an opportunity to move forward.
lisap and rachylou, I'm not sure I will ever wear the Naadam sweater as a dress, honestly. I think I could probably pull it off with some shapewear underneath, but ugh, why? I do like knowing it's an option, but 99.9% of the time, I'm going to wear it as a duster, and that's fine. And lisa, if ONLY we could sit down for coffee and clothes sorting. Wouldn't that be amazing?!
notsaf, if I were still living someplace cold, I'd be all over their pullovers after seeing the quality! The duster is perfect for here, because it's such an easy on-off layer for mornings and evenings. I'm glad to hear their products hold up long-term, too!
nemosmom, I'm excited to see that, too! Winter here is really the perfect dressing season for me. Too bad it's so short!
