I wonder if it was how close the sale was to Amazon Prime Day...

I still have items I ordered that say “getting ready” from the first day of the card members only part of the sale. I have also had items canceled twice that I then reordered, that were canceled again so I reordered them and some of them have shipped, while my earlier order sits in unclear status.

I have some items in "getting ready" status as well, ordered early to mid range in early access time. I checked online and none of these items is listed as out of stock or sold out. Availability in the sizes ordered. So I'm not sure as my other orders have now shipped. I tried to "chat' online but they are majorly busy and cannot get connected that way. I haven't tried calling yet. I would imagine they are hit pretty hard for this sale.

I finally waited long enough for a 'chat' representative to come online and I posed questions about the 'getting ready' status.. this is what I learned and I hope it helps:

Cheryl, that is a great question. "Getting ready" can be confusing but most items are shipping from different facilities and some facilities are shipping faster than others. Getting ready only mean, items have been located and packed, preparing to shipped. Keep in mind that standard shipping during the Anniversary Sale being 3-10 business days but you will receive by your due date

I have several items "Getting Ready" and several
"We're looking for your item" pieces. I hope they find them
Two or three of those are not Anniversary Sale but regular price so I hope they have them in stock somewhere.
I received the Aquatalia Fiamma booties yesterday and that package was shipped from Aquatalia, not Nordstrom

The rest of my 7/14 order shipped! (Chinos for my DH that were shipped from the Chicago store, and a bag that was shipped from a NJ store had already arrived.) So, this just leaves the 7/15 and 7/20 orders.
