I like to wear sneakers for casual when I can since do better with laces, footies. Also important for casual travel capsules. Only wish I could wear to work( have done on some weekends).
Hence I feel I can have a sneaker capsule for different looks. I had not jumped on the white sneaker revival though. Partly a bookending issue, partly not- me.
I already have had a couple pair of Josef Seibel. They really ought not to work for me because the heels aren’t narrow, but they do and I prefer the low- profile look of the Caspian to a lot of other sneakers.
I was looking at this other when considering trying ,white . They are clearly labeled “white leather” Lo and behold, I read reviews and some reviewers complained because they are NOT white. But for me, not- white sounded great! I was in. I tried them and they are a great, for me, chalky unnameable color, off- white/ gray.
They really work with my wardrobe colors and feel less stark than optic white, even though they clearly don’t bookend my hair. I will mix “ whites” in reverse, wearing these with white T or jacket or pants. They also blend with my not- white drapey pants for a different, casual look.
I may be all alone on the island, but am showing these in case someone else needs not- white, not blush, not metallic.
