Some of you may recall I don't like wearing leggings. But I needed a set of clothes that were nicer than loungewear but similarly non-constricting and easy to pull on. Jeans and knit tops, my former go-tos, just weren't comfy enough.
I picked up these ponte "pull-on pants" at Eddie Bauer:
https://www.eddiebauer.com/p/2.....#038;size= (Finds are not working for this item) For me as a size 16 I'd never wear them without a long top over, but they're thick enough that I can wear a tunic and feel ok leaving the house. I've got a few longer tops and light sweaters that I can combine with them. Today I'm wearing them with the Gibson twist-front fleece tunic. I want to order more colors but I'm trying to remind myself I only need this capsule a couple times a week.
For the warmer months I'm going to look for something similar in construction but out of a denim. I tried on Talbots pull-on jeans a few months ago and liked the fit, but I'd need a tall so would have to order online.
I still don't love the proportions of the long top over tight bottoms look on me, but it is really easy to wear so hopefully I'll warm to it a bit.
