All the Target maxi dresses went back today. The original white hi/low that piqued my interest is back on offer. I also have the crazy idea of pairing a tank and asymmetrical skirt for a makeshift dress. Is this cheesey or smart because I could break it up?
I'm thinking the white might be more versatile, a la LBD but a summer version. Also, it pulled at my heartstrings first, and all searches since have been just to try to measure up to it. But white isn't very forgiving, lined or not! And it's not returnable. But I want it four times more than any other version I see out there, barring the $400 designer ones that are no doubt much too long for 5'4" me. Like this ALC one. Drool.
