Not feeling spring

I know most of us are waiting for the warm-up after a brutal winter, but am I the only one not feeling the new spring colors? I just don't see myself looking good in anything pastel, light blue, orange, or muted colors and honestly, I'm not looking forward to wearing any of it. This season's going to do wonders for my wallet.

Which colors do you like to wear? I don't believe that all spring colors should be pastel or muted - what about brights? Do they work better?
If everything else fails there are shades of white - they are completely spring-like IMO.

I agree, a lot of the trendy colors right now don't suit my coloring either. So I'm finding myself more interested in buying stuff from less fashion forward stores that have classic colors. Of course, you can always wear what you already have, too. You could try some of Angie's color combos.

It's tricky when the fashion colours are against you, but I'm sure you will find something as the season goes on. Maybe this is the season to stock up on neutrals.

For once there are Spring colors this year that suit my more muted coloring. We all have to ride out the trends that don't suit us and take advantage of the ones that do. I'm sure the tide will turn at some point. It always does.

actually my spring colors are usually not that much different then my winter colors, i just change up the fabrications. i tend to wear a lot of navy and white and black and white year round.

I either don't do pastels, but love white, light grey, citron, coral, navy, and some mint for spring-even if they are not on trend:-)).

The only spring color that actually suits me is white. I'll take a previous poster's advice and stock up on neutrals this season! Thanks for letting me vent.

My guess is that you'll probably find the colours you like eventually this season. Retailers have done an excellent job of covering all colour bases over the last few years.

Maybe its the weather...I mean it is hard to get all gushy over colors with snow and below 0 temps...
I am also of the accord that neutrals are where its at if the pastels leave you uninspired...
