I realized as I was getting ready to go to the big city for the weekend, that I don't consider myself dressed without earrings and watch. You?

Watch and rings. I always wear three rings - wedding band and engagement ring on my left hand, and a silver one (I have a couple that I switch sometimes for this one) on my right hand. I wear the wedding band 24/7 but take off the other two to shower/sleep.

Can it be make-up based? Cos if so, then I don't feel right till I've done my eyebrows. They are patchy and pale and the outer third is almost non-existent. I always use a fine eyebrow pencil to remedy it and immediately my eyes and face are lifted and highlighted.

I do have occasional days when I am at home and never put my watch and wedding ring on. I guess I don't feel *really* dressed until I have shoes on.

Hmmm, my watch and wedding ring set never come off, but lately I've been wearing my DH's gold signet ring on my right forefinger and a gold link bracelet on that wrist (a mini arm-party). I do find myself running to put them on before I leave the house.

Jewelry and lipstick. I look like death without some lip color and I just feel like my outfits are incomplete without at least one piece of jewelry, whether it's a necklace, bracelet, or earrings. I'm not counting my wedding rings because I never take those off.

my watch...i used to only wear it on weekdays. but for the last 2 years, i just don't feel complete without it even on weekends.
i'd like to say my bra and underwear, but about a month ago, i left my house and was about 3 blocks away before i realized i didn't have a bra on. i considered going to work without one, but turned around and went home

I will chip in with tech, can I? I never leave the house without a tablet and my phone.

I am OK if I forget my watch, but if I forget my tablet or phone, I do feel naked.

Ohmigosh. I don't even exist without my *price tag* - i.e., an ID badge.

I am also missing my wristwatch. The band broke and I've let it languish, because I shouldn't have been wearing it anyways, for safety & hygiene reasons.

Eyeliner. And lipstick always and usually this really neat powder blush that is supposed to look natural on every skin color but looks so natural on my cheeks that I look feverish so I learned a new technique of brushing it just on the very tiptop of my cheekbone (edge closest to eyes, not the prominent part of cheekbone) and up to my temples. (Revlon smoky rose - just crazy about it)

But also, unless it's blazingly sunny and ultra hot and steamy, then some sort of topper.

Underwear is a given.

My rings (wedding rings on one hand, some kind of statement ring on the other) and my diamond stud earrings. They get worn every day, regardless of the rest of my outfit. If I forget a statement ring, my right hand feels oddly naked.

Besides underwear - makeup - foundation, blush, mascara, and eyebrow pencil are the bare minimum in order for me to feel "dressed."

Bra and underwear are a given. Then wedding ring. Then I go more to the beauty side of things - I truly feel dressed when I've done my eyebrows (waving to Diane!!), curled my eyelashes and my hair is done to my satisfaction (a ponytail counts!). I feel like my hair is a big part of whether or not I feel dressed - if I'm having a bad hair day, it really affects me. Weird!
